Record producer, composer, rapper, singer, song writer and performer Brad Tate also known as Skit Persa was born August 21, 1989 in North Chicago, Il. At a very young age Skit Persa was drawn to the sounds of funk, hip hop, soul and R&B and was heavily influenced by his father who was a bass player and his mother who was a background singer. Skit Persa later formed a musical group of his own named “New Grounds” with label mate Jay Fix opening for many notable acts such as Bone Thugs and Harmony, Ice Cube, Common and many other talented artists. Skit Persa also landed one of his productions on the hit MTV television show “Sweet Sixteen” along with radio slots on stations such as WGCI. Skit Persa later established his own independent record label entitled Another Vision Productions where his vision was to create an outlet for the musically diverse and the truly creative artist to be able to openly express themselves without limits. Currently he has two very diverse artists signed to the AVP label, singer and song writer Jonelle Glori and hip hop artist Jay Fix. Skit Persa has successfully managed to assist many local artists even not associated with the AVP label with video and music production, promotion and eclectic lyrical content in order for them to shine in their own way. With heavy musical influences from the likes of Dr. Dre, Roy Ayers, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, Skit Persa has evolved into a master mind of creating with feeling and developing a sound of his own
