Brad Tate, known professionally as Skit P, is a visionary artist, filmmaker, and entrepreneur whose creative impact spans music, film, and production. As the CEO and Founder of Another Vision Productions (AVP), Skit P has built a thriving independent entertainment company dedicated to amplifying diverse voices through film, music, and multimedia storytelling.

Born on August 21, 1989, in North Chicago, Illinois, Skit P’s passion for art began early, inspired by his father, a gifted bass player, and his mother, a soulful background singer. That musical foundation shaped a lifelong devotion to sound, performance, and innovation.

After co-founding the dynamic group New Grounds with label mate Jay Fix, Skit P quickly made a name for himself as a compelling performer and producer—sharing stages with industry legends like Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ice Cube, Common, and others. His music gained national attention when one of his tracks was featured on MTV’s hit show Sweet Sixteen and received airplay on major Chicago radio stations such as WGCI.

In 2023, Skit P wrote, produced, and starred in his debut feature film Designer, now streaming on Tubi and Amazon Prime Video. The film marked a major milestone, showcasing his ability to merge storytelling, music, and cinematic vision into a singular creative force. His acting repertoire also includes roles in Let’s Shake On It and a starring performance in the acclaimed independent film Hope Town.
